New Delhi: The Minister of Jaisankar’s external affairs on Sunday met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud here and exchanged views on developments in Afghanistan and other regional problems.
According to the Ministry of Statement of External Affairs, Jaishankar met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.
“The two ministers exchanged views on developments in Afghanistan and other regional problems.
They also discussed bilateral cooperation in multilateral forums such as the United Nations, G-20 and GCC Pandemi Covid-19,” read the statement.
This is the first Minister of Finance from Saudi Arabia to India since the plague of Pandemi Covid-19.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan was on a three-day visit to New Delhi.
Both ministers discuss all problems related to bilateral relations and interested regional and international problems.
“The two ministers reviewed the implementation of the Strategic Partnership Council Agreement signed between the two parties during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Saudi Arabia in October 2019.
They expressed satisfaction at the meeting held based on the agreement and progress achieved.
