Lucknow: The Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) in Lucknow submitted a murder and robbery case on Sunday against the Police Special Operations (SOG) Jaunpur after the death of the custodian on February 12 made a sharp rebuke from the Allahabad High Court last month.
After the victim’s body, Krishna Kumar Yadav, 24, was handed over to his family, his brother Ajay shouted murder and moved to court.
He told the bench that his brother, who did not have a criminal anteceden, was dragged into detention by Jaunpur police, robbing Rs 60,000 and tortured to death.
The CBI registered a murder case, robbery, a violation, intentional insult to the SOG team, former official of the Baksha Police Station Ajay Kumar Singh and his ajud.
Ajay also accused the police to embrace the story that his brother died of an injury after he met an accident and was then destroyed by a horde.
He also claimed the autopsy was damaged.
“Brother, Krishna Kumar’s butt is full of contusions.
And this is ignored in an autopsy report, which quotes a heart attack (myocardial infraction) as a cause of death,” Ajay said in his petition.
Ajay also declared a false committed police by notifying a local court, they did not take Krishna to the district hospital, but for the public health center in Naupedwa, Jaunpur, on February 12.
