Patna: JD (U) National President and Muler Muler Rajiv Ranjan Singh aka Lalan Singh Positive Dised for Covid-19 on Tuesday.
Singh himself told the party leaders through tweets immediately after getting a RT-PCR test report.
Sumber JD (U) said Singh gave a sample for RT-PCR test on Monday, because he had to visit Goa as a member of the Parliament Committee.
The state headquarters has also been closed for general visitors after five employees and two senior party leaders were also tested positive early on that day.
The infected JD (U) leaders were the National Election Officer of the Aneel Hegde Party and Chief Whip at the State Legislative Council, Sanjay Kumar Singh aka Gandhi Ji.
While Hegde has lived in a party office for the past few weeks, Singh is a regular visitor to the office.
“I have tested positive for Covid.
It has isolated myself at home now.
Those who came related to me in the past few days, please isolate yourself,” Singh Tweeted.
Hour before the test report came, Singh attended a crowded event along with CM State Deputy Tarkishore Prasad and JD (U) MLC Neeraj Kumar in Patna District.
This event was compiled to mark the 151st foundation day of the body of Barr.
“The party office has not been closed.
We just limited the entry of general visitors as a measure of security,” JD (U) Vice President Navin Kumar Arya Chandravanshi to Ti.
JD (U) State President Umesh Singh Kushwaha, who has spent hours with Lalan Singh just two days ago, said he had canceled all of the tour programs and isolated himself in the state capital.
