“Shahdeo added that according to rough estimates based on media reports, around RS 8,000 crore money was spent by people in this state for medical care since the hit pandemic.
“Of this amount, Rs 7,000 Crore is spent at a private hospital.
This is more reasons why there is a need for a financial audit of all private hospitals to ensure which hospital is prescribed with the government and not,” he said.
Minister of Health Banna Gupta could not be contacted for his comments.
