New Delhi: Reliance The largest telecommunications operator in India Jio added cellular customers at the hot speed in July, and the airtel also felt the calculation of users, even as the idea of Vodafone lost 14.3 lakh customers, according to the latest data from the Trai regulator.
Reliance Jio obtained 65.1 lakh customers in July strengthen its market excellence, while Bharti Airtel added 19.42 lakh customers for a month.
Drive on the increase in large customers, Jio’s wireless user base swelled to 44.32 crores in July, according to monthly customer data released by the Indian Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (Trai).
The Counts of Airtel customers rose to 35.40 crore in July.
Vodafone’s idea lost 14.3 lakh wireless users during July, because the number of customers slipped to 27.19 crore.
The telecommunications sector has received a shot on the arm with a cabinet recently approved the blockbuster assistance package for the industry, which includes a four-year break for the company from paying legal contributions, permission to share rare waves, changes in the definition of income levies which are paid, and allow 100 Percent of foreign investment through automatic routes.
These steps, which aim to provide assistance to companies such as Vodafone Idea Ltd (VIL) that must pay thousands of crores in the contributions of past laws that have not been provised, also include the exclusion of the cost of using spectrum (SUC) for Airwa obtained at auction in the future.
The reform package is expected to provide very much needed answers for Vodafone ideas, which struggle to survive.
