Ranchi: In the first for Jharkhand, the state government will establish a kiosk at Dubai International Expo 2020 which is ongoing in early 2022 in an effort to showcase its potential in the mineral-based industrial sector and to reduce global investor prospective.
This center has recently provided a nod of the State Industry Department proposal to participate in Jharkhand’s first international event.
The kiosk is expected to appear between February 27 and March 6 next year.
The senior department official will attend the event.
Confirming development, the Industrial Secretary of the Puja Singhal State told TII, “The state has received a central nod to attend the Dubai International Expo between February 27 and March 6 next year.” In particular, India was present along with 190 other countries at the event which began on October 1 and will continue until March 31.
India has exhibited culture, food, agriculture, climate, urban development and other regions in its fourth Indian Pavilion.
.
The previous country failed to accommodate beds at the exhibition while competing with other mineral countries such as Chhattisgarh and Odisha between September 30 and October 6 this year.
Sources who are aware of developments claim that Jharkhand missed in bed earlier this month due to the delay in forwarding the proposition.
“Even though Jharkhand will mainly show off its mineral reserves, other interesting areas such as food and technology processing, clothing, automotive, electronic vehicle manufacturing sectors and the pharmaceutical sector will also be exhibited to attract potential investments,” said senior department official.
In September, the department had roamed the Global Consultant Company, Ernst & Young, to help participate in the exhibition.
Earlier this year, the state government has launched industrial promotion policies and new countries that focus on eight high priority sectors – clothing, cars, auto components and electric vehicles, agro-food processing and processing of meat, pharmaceutical and electronic systems and manufacturing (ESDM ).
In September, Chairman of the Minister of Hemant Soren met with company leaders in Delhi Baru and guarantee of investment worth Rs 10,000 Crore.
