Jaipur: Rajasthan ACB on Wednesday digging the main bribery racquet at the larger JMC and captured contract employees to take Rs 9,000 to release urban development tax (UD).
ACB identified the defendant as the Choudhary PANKAJ.
According to ACB ASP Narrottam Lal Verma, the defendant has demanded money to eliminate the complainant tax with the RS 3 Lakh song.
According to Verma, JMC-Greater has wandered around the private company sparrow in 2020 whose mandates include surveys and collecting UD taxes.
“The company sends an online report to the Municipal Corporation.
The corporation then prepares a request letter in accordance with the tax collected,” Verma said.
ACB said the complainants had alleged that Choudhary had demanded a 100,000 rs bribe promising to eliminate its properties from the Ambit UD tax.
The defendant threatened to issue UD tax notices until Rs 3 Lakh if the bribe was not paid.
The complainant told ACB about this problem.
The bureau then verified the truth of complaints and put a trap where Choudhary was arrested.
According to Verma, while Choudhary posted as a contractual employee, he brought an identity card issued by JMC.
The sources at ACB also told the Toi that some Choudhary’s colleagues had fled the office when the detectives arrested the defendant from that place.
