Jaipur: JMC-Heritage has stopped the BVG India contract Ltd because of negligence in door-to-door waste collection and not to work in accordance with the provisions of the contract.
Notifications have been served to the head of the company project.
Termination warning notification was given to the company 15 days ago but there was no increase seen in the condition of the city sanitation.
This forces the Civic’s body to stop the contract.
JMC-Heritage Commissioner Awadhesh Meena said some notifications were issued to the company for negligence and non-compliance with contract rules.
When nothing has changed even after warnings, the company’s service was stopped, he said.
“We were fed up with complaints received from the public and poor quality of work.
We have invited tenders to hire a hoopers from different companies as an alternative to BVG companies, but the process will spend it.
Until then we will use it.
Our resources to take waste , “Meena said.
BVG has 200 Hooper for all walled cities.
JMC-Heritage has 100 Hooper itself so they will function in two shifts to take garbage from the city, the commissioner said.
For this, instructions have been issued for officials.
Door-to-door waste collection will be carried out in every ward in two shifts in the city starting at 6am to 10pm.
Because of this situation, the leaves of all sanitation workers and officers involved in the cleaning system have been canceled.
Head of the company BVG project Ummed Deerawat said they respect corporate sequences and will stop working from Saturday.
“We respect that decision, but we think of legal drugs.
We will immediately take action,” said Deerawat.
Commissioner Meena said the public must work together in maintaining cleanliness in the city.
“There is a great participation of the community in maintaining a hygiene system.
The right setting for garbage collection from the door to the door will soon be confirmed,” he added.
