Jaipur: The JMC-Heritage Fire Department has identified more than 2,000 commercial properties in the city that does not have an NOC fire (no certificate of objection).
Despite some warnings in the past, most of the commercial buildings in the city did not have an NOC fire.
Now, JMC-Heritage has started this campaign that will continue until next month where the notification will be served for commercial building owners.
JMC’s legacy head Devender Meena said, “We have sent more than 600 notices to various commercial building owners.
In addition, we also make people aware of the importance of Fire NOC.
If all the building owners deposit the amount of API NOC, it is expected to provide income more than Rs 50 Crore to the corporation.
“Most commercial buildings such as shopping centers, rooftop restaurants, hotels and clubs are located in King Park and Civil.
However, the restaurant on the roof has not been burned by NOC from the city corporation according to the household budget launched by UDH three years ago.
There are more than 300 rooftop restaurants in the walled city without security measures, risking people’s lives.
The cylinder explosion in the rooftop restaurant on Jalan Tonk forced the government to form rules but very few roof restaurants had taken NOC at JMC-bigger.
Most have not even registered.
Officials at JMC-Heritage said that no more than six applications have been received so far about the API NOC, but no one is given NOC.
Most of them have not fulfilled the guidelines.
It is difficult and the main financial shares for these owners because they have to do many changes in accordance with the regulations.
