Ranchi: Jharkhand State Bar Council (JSBC) has approved a proposal to improve the pension lawyer registered within the country to a maximum of Rs 10,000 per month.
President JSBC Rajendra Krishna said the decision in this general body meeting was taken during a meeting of the organization’s general body on Thursday night.
He said, “The Committee will soon be formed to overcome the financial modalities and aspects of the proposal.” In particular, JSBC provides retirement between Rs 3,000 and Rs 7,000 per month based on the number of years of practice.
JSBC implements the welfare scheme of advocate funds of welfare trust led by the Advocate General.
Money is collected from advocate welfare stamps, which are inserted on various court documents, transferred to trust for welfare measures.
Krishna also said JSBC had also decided to take discipline acts against supporters who did not attach the welfare stamp of advocate to their petition under various pretensions.
