Kalyan: Two people including a rickshaw driver automatically injured after the automatic rickshaw was reversed near the NRC company in the Ambivli area in the Thane District.
They traveled through Ambivli-Balyani Road with several holes.
On Wednesday, automatic rickshaw driver Kapil Gaikar, Manavali residents carry passengers from Balyani to the Ambivli train station when the rickshaw suddenly turned upside down.
In the accident, Gaikar suffered an injury in his hand and passengers Saddam Shaikh also suffered injuries.
Police said the reason for sure behind the accident was unknown.
But former Corporator Shiv Sena, Namita Patil blamed the streets riding on the hole for the accident, “It is unfortunate that despite recurring complaints, road work still has not been carried out by Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation”.
Patil threatens that if road work is not done in the coming days then he will hold agitation of the KDMC administration.
Sapna Koli, KDMC City Engineer said that detailed project reports were being prepared for the work of Balyani’s main road and immediately tender would be issued for work.
