The Cambera season began from mid-November, and rose until March, and around 22 events were held.
“Along by promoting sports at the international level, we saw protecting the Buffalo Breed used for Kambala.
Buffalos Kambala is from Thalavara and Gauli Breed and live for about 28 years.
They can participate in a Kambala for around 21 years.
During the transport of buffalo for events, The owner must comply with the law of transportation of animals, and must have a valid certificate.

Jockey Kambeys must be recognized as other sportsmen, and must be entitled to work, travel concessions, pensions and scholarships.
Furthermore, the organizers must ensure that there is enough water and fodder settings at the event.
Also, from this year, we will insist that the team consisting of three veterinarians must check the buffalo, and related documents, before the Kambala festival begins.
The human and animal ambulance must be placed during the event, “Vijay Kumar added.
