MySuru: Taking a signal from the center, the Kannada Department and the culture have appealed to the public to nominate individuals for the Kannada RajyothaVa award.

The state government activates the link on the Seva Sindhu web portal to nominate the outstanding people.
The public public can register on the web portal and upload people’s details from their choice with short biodata, fields and subcategories and their contributions to the field.
Only those who are above 60 years can be nominated.
However, the recognized national and international preaching is excluded from the criteria for this age.
The department has released a video by the Minister of Kannada and the culture of V Sunil Kumar in the nomination process.
“All applications uploaded will be sent to the selection committee,” he said.
The last date for sending nominations is October 15.
