In the ITMS camera and also in the automatic number plate recognition system (ANPR), IIT-K agrees to Add and test the features of the artificial intelligence system (AI) so incidents such as accidents, uncertain driving behaviors, violating process rules of several rates can be detected by the camera and can report to ICCCC or also generate warnings.
IIT-K also agreed to help improve smart parking solutions.

To learn and assess the efficiency of ITMS data, the IIT-K director asked Tech Mahindra to produce wise cameras or RCA data or RCA for the past six months, along with problems at each point if there is an increase that is needed as needed can be planned accordingly.

Detailed reviews must be done to identify suitable locations where more and more people can use free Wi-Fi facilities.
Automatic SMS alert and pre-registration for free Wi-Fi can be adopted.
CitySmart City also asks IIT-K for help in creating a variable messaging board (VMB) more effectively which currently has poor visibility.
The Commissioner of the Kanpur Division and Chair and CEO of the City Smart Team will visit Iit Campus next week to interact with various experts and decide the expert visit date.
