Kappa strains are detected in the man of Panchmaahal dead

Vadodara: Panchmahal District Population has become one of the first victims of the Kappa variant of the Coronavirus novel in the state.
The 50-year-old man died on June 30.
The resident of Andar Village Na Muvada in Godhra Taluka, the victim also suffered from severe diabetes.
The sources in the health department said that the man had hurt his legs about six months ago and his legs began to deteriorate.
Finally, when he could not use his legs, the family took him to the hospital in June.
The patient initially rushed to a private hospital in Godhra and then went to the Civil Hospital Godhra.
He was then taken to Ahmedabad’s civil hospital and then shifted to the SSG hospital in Vadodara.
An official said that it was in Ahmedabad that his swab for the RT-PCR test was collected and sent for genome sequencing.
Panchmahal’s additional district health worker Dr.
J Pmar said that patients died on June 30 at Vadodara.
He added that the sequencing was carried out by the National Institute of Virology and the report was distributed to them on Saturday.
After development, a health survey in the area where patients stayed completed and the RT-PC test of close contact samples was also carried out.
Parmar said that no cases of symptoms reported in the drive and test were also found negative.
