Madikeri: In more cluster outbreaks at educational institutions, 29 students from two schools in Kodagu Regency isolated at the Covid-19 hospital designated on Sunday after they tested positive infections.
Dr.
Venkatesh, district health workers, said 72 samples were taken from Morarji Desai housing school students at Siddapur’s flow, 20 were tested positively.
The school is run by the Directorate of State Minority Department.
The other nine tested positively came from Kodagi Vidyalaya in Madikeri, a school run by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.
Eleven students from the school had been tested positive last week.
The school is sealed and disanited after the first outbreak.
4 In Davanagere Infection, four students, including one of Navodaya School, Devarahalli, in Channagiri Taluk in the Davanagere district, was tested positive on Sundays.
The school will remain closed for 10 days according to the rules of detention, said the Dr.
Raghavan District Supervision.
None of the students who have a history of travel recently.
