Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner KV Rajendra has enabled worshipers to have Darshan all day at the Temple of Kukke Shri Subrahmanya and Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala.
But there are certain conditions.
Only a person who is fully vaccinated will be allowed to offer Sevas in temples.
They also have to have negative negative RT-PCR, no more than 72 hours.
Seva coupons will be released in a limited amount based on space availability.
This will ensure that people do not gather in large quantities, said Rajendra in order.
All Archaks, administrative staff and other employees at the temple must undergo a RT-PCR test every 15 days.
Announcement board will be placed in temples to increase awareness about vaccination.
Temple officials have also been urged to arrange vaccination camps for worshipers.
With this, weekend restrictions on two famous temples have been appointed.
The worshipers can have Darshan from 7am to 11:30 a.m., 12.15 pm until 13:15 and 2.30 afternoon to 7pm on all days, said Kukke Candi Executive Officer Ningaiiah.
“The temple is not open to worshipers over the weekend after a pandemic.
Based on the direction of the Government, the Administration of the Regency of Dakshina Kannada has made a decision to allow worshipers on Saturday and Sunday,” the officer said to Stoi.
He added: “The number of worshipers who visited the temple was low on Saturday because the decision was taken on Friday and many people did not know it.” The Guest House of the Kukke Temple will now continue opening over the weekend.
