MYSURU: In an effort to increase vaccination coverage among girls, especially in rural locations along with also the belt, Chamarajanagar district government has chosen to install pink vaccination booths in accordance with the Election Commission’s pink polling booths.
These stalls, in which only girls will be treated the vaccine, is going to be put up from hobli into taluk level.
The government has also made a decision to rope from 70,000 associates of over 4,000 active Girls Self Help Groups to the driveway.
According to statistics, until Sunday, 1,00,057 guys and 1,04,313 girls are jabbed at the area.
“When a female member of a household receives the vaccine, obviously other members also return to take the jab.
After a growing number of girls start doing this, it is going to send a message out to the whole society.
Initially, we’ll set these up pink stalls in taluk headquarters.
Afterwards, we’ll expand them into the hobli degree,” explained deputy commissioner MR Ravi.
The government has also made a decision to involve NGOs from the vaccination drive using slogans such as Lasike Hakisi – Jeeva Ulisi (Get vaccinated, rescue lives).
According to the program, priority classes will be handled the shooter via specific graffiti camps.
