Mangaluru: A Christian boy who plays a cricket game with Hindu children in the Templatan Temple Sullia was asked by members of the temple committee to leave the place because of his religion.
The incident video became a viral on social media, but no police complaints.
Police Sullia conducted its own investigation.
The incident occurred three days ago on the grounds of the temple dedicated to a Demigod in Sullia Taluk, about 90 km from here.
Toi cannot independently confirm the authenticity of the video.
Records showed members of the temple committee who asked the Christian boy to leave the land and vice versa playing in the church building.
At that point, Hindu children look to support their Christian friends and ask members of the Committee not to drag the religion into this problem.
The committee member suddenly gave up his anger in Hindu children, imagining them to play cricket “with people from other religions”.
He heard told the children that he had talked to MLA by telephone about this problem.
The source claims that the Temple Committee has decided to plant and dug holes for the same thing.
Because it was impossible to play cricket in that place, some young men protested said they were Hinduism and must be allowed to play cricket on the ground.
This allegedly made a committee member, who said a Christian child was among the players and questioned his presence at the temple.
Committee members, identified as Praveen, then offered an apology and said he had no intention of hurting anyone.
A police officer said they were informally talking to members of the Committee and the children, and both denied the intention to hurt anyone about religious reasons.
