MySuru: Students at Hostel and Pay Guest Accommodation are focused after the broken Covid case among nursing students in Hassan.
Health officials now do tests in educational institutions.
Authorities maintain a close watch on the student community, especially those in the hostel.
Last week, more than a dozen breastfeeding students from a college in Bengaluru-Mysuru Road had been tested positively and had been quarantined.
More than 400 students were tested and officials claimed the remaining tested negatively.

KH Prasad said 17 students from the nurse college were tested positively.
None of them from Kerala.
After students were found infected, every inmate in the hostel was tested.
Overall, 400 was tested and no one was contracted by a virus.
“Health officials are on the toes and heads of all institutions have been directed at informing students or prisoners from the hostel or paying a guest house that has covid symptoms.
Students will advance to test,” he said.
Prasad said every day nearly 10,000 Covid tests were being carried out in MySuru.
Swab samples are also collected from students regularly.
“Until now, the situation is not worrying.
All of our staff have been ordered to test all prisoners or students if they are among those who test positive or have covid symptoms,” he added.
With at least a single dose vaccine makes it mandatory for students to attend the physical class, vaccination centers that visit the covid test.
Testing a student means getting a sample of the family.
