Mangaluru: Police Dakshina Kannada on Thursday caught four criminals to tarnish Shree Karinjeshwara’s temple on Bantwal Taluk.
The four video accused of entering a place of worship with their footwear becomes a viral, and a registered complaint.
Accused of being arrested was Busher Rehman, 20, a resident of Masthikatte, Ullal; Ismail Arha Maj, 22, residents of Mukkacheri, Ullal; Mohammed Tanish, 19, a resident of Halekote, Ullal and Mohammed Rashad, 19, a resident of Babbukatte, Mangaluru.
Complaints submitted by Vinay Kumar on behalf of the President of the Temple Managing Committee on Wednesday.
This case was submitted under the Indian Code 295 (injuring or monitoring places of worship with the intention to insult religion in any class).
Police Punjalkatte started an investigation based on viral videos and arrested them.
They are produced in front of the court and are returned in the custody of the judiciary.
