Karnataka: Humans get 3 years in the case of Pocso

Udupi: Fast Track Court Pocso on Wednesday punish a 26-year-old man into three years of hard prison to try sexual violations on a seven-year-old girl in 2016.
Judge Y Kalpana has ordered a prisoner to pay Rs 12,500, where the hospital 5,000 will go to the victim.
Y T Rachavendra, a special public prosecutor, said the convict was Pramod, a daily wage worker.

The court examined 17 documents and 10 witnesses.

He will undergo six months in prison under the IPC part 448 (House-Trespass) and 342 (wrong confinement) and pay a fine of RS 1,000.
Under IPC part 506 (criminal intimidation), he will undergo a year in prison and pay Rs 1,500.
The court also directed the government to pay an additional RS 25,000 to the victims who survived as compensation
