Mysuru / Bengaluru: Amid rumors about understanding by JD (s) for the election of the Legislative Council on December 10, former Minister of BS Yediyurappa chairman on Sunday told party cadres, “no alliance” with now.
It is seen as an effort to maintain the moral of BJP candidates high and do not interfere with its voter base.
“Building my personal relationship with the former Head of the HD Minister Kumaraswamy, I asked for support from JD (s) only in the segment where they were not in Medan.
There was no understanding in constituencies where both BJP and JD had deployed candidates,” Yediyurappa said at Mandya.
While JD is related to only six of the 25 seats going to the election, BJP is in a commotion in 20 constituencies.
Interestingly, BJP has deployed candidates in all six seats from which JD (s) fight.
Kumaraswamy, on the other hand, said the party was “still hesitant” at Yediyurappa’s request for tactical support.
Former CM said in MySuru: “Yediyurappa has been seeking my support in the election.
When the Congress leaders have explained that they do not need JD support, we cannot support it.
However, we will decide our support to BJP on Monday.” In November , Yediyurappa has moved a pot that BJP will seek JD support.
Then, photos of PM Modi and former PM HD Deve Gowda triggered talks about the active alliances between the two parties.
