Mangaluru: There has been an unexpected decomposal fortune for government schools in this district, because of a pandemic.
They have received more than 3,000 additional receipts at this time.
The acceptance process, which is still active, will be closed at the end of October.
Officials from the Ministry of Public Instruction said that every year they have a target of acceptance.
“However, this year the receipt has risen more than expected.
We are targeting 98,532 and 46,229 acceptance for government and schools assisted in the district for this academic year.
What surprised us, we have witnessed an increase of 2% to 3% in reception in schools Government school, “said Malleswamy, Ddpi, Dakshina Kannada.
This district is one of the best performance districts in the state, when it comes to reception.
Malleswamy said that every year the target figures for districts were reduced by around 600 to 700 for class I.
This time the government and schools assisted, regardless of values, have received more reception.
The main reason for students migrating to government schools, is that the problem of costs in schools without assistance or private has never been resolved.
“This has forced several parents to cancel acceptance in private schools, and recognize their children to the schools managed by the government,” said Malleswamy, added that the final figure to enter in the district would be known only after the end of October.
Educational block officials show that the highest number of students is recognized at the Kannada-English Bilingual Middle School.
This year the district has added 32 new Bilingual Middle School, and the number has increased to 82 schools.
Other officials said that many parents, who previously sent their wards to a distant private school, have now registered them in the nearest government schools.
It was the same as those who lived in a housing school.
“Parents really feel that their wards do not learn enough from online classes.
Meanwhile, parents also found increased quality in education in government schools, especially Bilingual Middle School,” an official said.
Some private schools recognize that some students have been issued with a transfer certificate.
“When we don’t give them TC because they look forward to school fees, they immediately approach the jurisdiction and take it,” said the private school owner.
