Mangaluru: A police attached to the District Police Dakshina Kannada has been accused of having a survived sexual striker, underage, with whom he is related during the investigation and legal procedures in the previous case.
Police, Shivaraj, have been detained.
He has been booked under ACT Pocso and other IPC parts.
Survivor’s father, who filed a complaint, said the minors were being attacked over the past six months on the promise of marriage.
The source said the child below was raped about two years ago and a case was listed under ACT Pocso.
After this, Constable Shivaraj is allegedly used to visit his home often with the pretext of publishers and other legal procedures.
His parents came to know the problem when the girl was pregnant.
When they faced Shivaraj, he refused to marry the girl and allegedly gave the RS 35,000 family to cover up abortion.
Survivor is likely to give his statement to the police on Tuesday.
