Ramesh Babu, Tehsildar Puture, said that 13 places in the district have been identified to install lightning captivity and the proposal have been sent by the District Administration to the government in 2016.
He hopes to get approval immediately.
The letter was sent at the time of deputy commissioner to the Secretary of the Head of the Department of Revenue (Disaster Management).
The district government has identified 13 places where breeding lightning must be installed to prevent death and injury during the rainy season.
The cost of 13 AWrestor is placed at Rs 35 Lakh.
In Puture Taluk, Keyur and Nelyaia were identified and arrestor costs were quoted at Rs 5 Lakh per Arrestor.
