BENGALURU: Karnataka obtained 136 railroad tankers with approximately 3,000 tonnes of liquid chemical oxygen (LMO)and also the greatest in South India.
Talking to reporters on Wednesday, Suneet Sharma, chairman and CEO of Railway Board, stated railways delivered 1,401 oxygen tankers throughout the nation.
Obviously, Karnataka obtained 136 tankers.
It’s accompanied by Andhra Pradesh (131), Tamil Nadu (128), Telangana (113) and Kerala (27).
Sharma reported the following 26 tankers using 504 tonnes of oxygen have been en-route for Karnataka (12), Tamil Nadu (8), Andhra Pradesh (4 ) ) along with Telangana (two ).
States that obtained the maximum oxygen tankers from the country contain Delhi (297), Uttar Pradesh (276) and Haryana (141).
Sharma stated they’re working’Oxygen Express’ trains according to need.
The initiative was first established on April 19 between Mumbai and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
“So much, 593’Oxygen Express’ trains proceeded 1,401 tankers using 23,658 tonnes into 15 nations,” he explained.
He explained oxygen transported by rail has increased from 174 tonnes on April 24 on 23,658 about June 2 (until 8am).
He said they’ve taken several measures to conduct’Oxygen Express’ trains including identifying appropriate railway wagons, building of ramps to load tankers onto wagons at various areas, mapping of railroad routes because of constraints of non elevation fixed structures, cable and overhead gear, security protocols because of cryogenic/ poisonous character and intensive online real-time tracking and coordination.
