Bengaluru: Karnataka on Saturday recorded 889 new Covid-19 cases and 14 deaths, took infection counted to 29,67,083 and the death toll became 37,587, said the Ministry of Health.
The day also saw 1,080 release, pushing the total recovery to 29.13,713.
From new cases, 263 came from Bengaluru Urban, because the city saw 222 release and 6 deaths.
The active case in this country reaches 15,755.
While the level of participants for that day stood at 0.63 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was at 1.57 percent.
Six deaths were reported from Bengaluru Urban, two of them from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, followed by others.
Apart from Bengaluru Urban, three other districts contributed the maximum number of fresh infections at this time – Dakshina Kannada 133, Udupi 86 and Mysuru 74.
Bengaluru Urban District Peak the list of positive cases, with a total of 12.43.213, followed by MySuru 1, 77,223 and Tumakuru 1.19.

Cumulatively 4,61,43,315 samples were tested in the state, where 1,38,920 was tested on Saturdays.
