Bengaluru: The state government has changed the digital platform, Mahiti Kanaja, to provide employment of access to various government services.
This is the second initiative in this country after Portal Jan Soochna Rajasthan.
To make carnataka countries empowered digitally, the government will now offer 167 services under 50 departments through portals and cellular applications.
Segments such as education, ESCOM, Metro and Health have been added to Mahitu Kanaja.
Previously, this portal was associated with only 30 schemes and 10 departments.
The government plans to further increase the number of services that can be accessed from 167 to 500 in March 2022.
“The advantage of this digital mode is that residents can enter after registering and directly utilizing services.
Programmers in the e-governance department, and not a third party team , Develop a platform, “said Rajeev Chawla, Head of the Additional School in the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reform (e-Governance), after launching an updated portal and new application.
He added that the new portal has detail related to the ration card, the status of the birth / death certificate, beneficiaries of the Swachh Bharat and Mgnrega scheme, among others.
Basically, the portal will act as a stop for people who need information about various schemes and government services.
There will be no need to apply for the RTI application for the same thing.
User privacy is the main focus area during the development of the platform.
For example, if someone tries to find information about the BPL ration card, only the name of the family head and the number of family members to be displayed, not the right details.
But the portal requires more work.
List of Banks and ATMs Not Latest and Details of Cemara submitted to individuals who cannot be accessed because the police portal associated with Mahiti Kanaja is not open.
BBMP data such as roads that are repaired in the past six months and details about individuals with mining licenses are also lost.
