Mangaluru: In less than 48 hours, South Railway restored the KulasHekar -padil section of the track, which was blocked after a large landslide on Friday.
It was certified suitable for traffic movements at 7.57 in the morning on Sundays.
The first train to pass the part was 02978 Ajmer-Ernakulam (Maru Sagar) Special Express.
It arrived at 8:55 a.m.
