Hassan: Following protests from VHP members and pressure from many organizations and the community, the district government has decided to allow worshipers to visit the Hasanamba temple but with motorists – only those who have taken the Covid-19 vaccine can enter.
The temple will open on October 28 and close on November 6 because of the pandemic, the authorities have decided to ban worshipers, because lakh visits the temple which is only opened for several days a year.
However, VHP members have protested what they call “low-key celebrations”.
Now, anyone who has even been vaccinated in part can enter.
However, worshipers will be banned on the first and last day.
Those under the age of 18 will not be permitted.
“Special ticket prices will RS 300 and RS 1,000 night, “said K Gopalaiiah, District Minister on Tuesday.
