Jayalakshmi has tried to get the state government to increase compensation for acid attack survivors from RS 3 Lakh to RS 5 Lakh, and a monthly pension from Rs 3,000 to RS 10,000.
Accompanied by other activists, he planned to meet with the minister’s chairman immediately in this matter.
