Shivamogga: Techpreneur from Bengaluru, after buying a simple land in Sagar Taluk from the Shivamogga District a decade ago, has changed the place to the forest and named IT Usha Kiran.
Forest, developed with the help of famous weddings Akhilesh Chipli, has original species of plants and trees.
B V Suresh Kumar, who runs IT companies in Bengaluru, have business interest in the education sector as well.
He has built Hongirana, a secondary-private school at Amtekoppa Villager of the Taluk for the interests of rural students.
When Kumar was looking for land to expand his business at Sagar, he knew about landowners who sold his 21acre plot, where he had planted acacia and eucalyptus.
After buying land, he decided not to use it for commercial purposes, and also shared his thoughts with his friends, especially Chipli.
Environmental lovers suggest suresh that he changed the soil into a forest, and the latter prepared the idea.
For the next 10 years, they grow original species at Usha Kiran, which is now home to wild animals such as bison and deer, as many birds.
While Kumar said he was proud of Chipli’s work, the latter said the project was a green model.
“The land was almost like a desert a decade ago.
My Technepreneur-friend Suresh Kumar took into account my advice to turn it into a forest.
I planted several species of plants sourced from Ghats Westren.
