Almaty: The internet returned to Kazakhstan’s biggest city on Monday after a five-day blackout as a deadly clash left dozens and 1.8 million financial hubs shaken, an AFP correspondent reported.
Almaty, former Capital of Kazakhstan, has been almost completely offline since Wednesday, but local and foreign sites can be accessed again Monday, which was declared a day of mourning after the worst riot in the independent history of the former Soviet Republic.
