Mangaluru: Shashidhar Pai Maroor has been chosen as president of the Chamber of Commerce and Kanara Industry (KCCI) here.
He was chosen at an annual general meeting of 81 room members on Thursday.
Other office carriers for 2021-22 including M Ganesh Kamath, Vice President, Abdur Rahman Musbon, Honorary Treasurer and Nissar Fakeer Mohammed and Ananthesh V Prabhu were elected as honor secretary.
Divakak Pai Kochikar, Nitetathiraj Shetty, B A Nazeer, Amith Ramachandra, Aditya Padmanabha Pai, P B Ahmed Mudassar, Athmika Amin, Anand G Pai, Jeethan Allen Sequeira, Nandagopal Shenoy, Ashith B Heginha was chosen as Directors.
