Hyderabad: In an effort to mobilize the support of regional parties on the government led by BJP in the middle, Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao will meet with Tamil Nadu Nadu MK Stalin in Chennai on Tuesday.
KCr, who left for TN on Monday with family, visited the Temple of Rangatha Swamy in Srirangam and arrived at Chennai at night.
Both KCR and Stalin have maintained a good relationship over the past few years.
TRS’s head met Stalin in 2019 as part of its efforts to bring regional parties under one umbrella to form a federal front.
KCr then met Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee too, but the plan did not take off.
“CM will seek DMK support for discriminatory rice procurement policies in the southern and north and on other issues against the Government of Narendra Modi.
He will also discuss his request for more strength to declare in the agriculture, education and health sector,” said a leader Senior trs.
The pink party has vocal against the center both in parliament and outside for the past few weeks on the problem of rice.
Previously, in the last week of October, the DMK parliamentary member had submitted to the President of the KT Rama Rao letter from Stalin to KCR who was looking for support in the line of the NEET.
But the TRS government does not support the removal of the NEET exam.
KTR has announced he will visit TN to study the structure of the DMK organization, by observing replicating in Telangana.
