It is reported that even with the guise of ‘green cracker’, forbidden chemical firecrackers are being sold and there is mislabelling on Boxes and even QR codes provided in the ‘green cracker’ box, allegedly false, “the court had observed.
The country has a rich culture using firecrackers for festivals such as Diwali and Vishu and for other religious ceremonies such as the Temple Festival and they are North Kerala.
The previous court has banned the manufacture, sales and use of firecrackers in addition to green firecrackers and those who are reduced emissions (improvisation).
The court has also forbidden “firecrackers”, because such firecrackers cause large air problems, noise and solid waste.
The allowed firecrackers must only be through licensed traders, and must also be ensured that the licensed traders only sell firecrackers permitted.
The court has determined that there are no e-commerce websites, including e-commerce giants such as Amazon and Flipkart, must accept orders and sell firecrackers, and those who sell them online must be transported and responsible for the insults of the court.
The court specifically said that barium salt (which gave green to fireworks) could not be used in firecrackers.
Previously, based on a court order, the state had issued orders on November 3 limiting the use of firecrackers from 7pm and 10 nights on Diwali’s day.
On the basis of court orders, the government will issue other orders that limit the use of firecrackers for the coming Christmas and the new year from 11.55 PM until 12:30 a.m.
The court said the celebration could not be permitted with health costs, especially senior citizens and children.
