Kochi: The Ministry of India’s Meteorology (IMD) said that there would be an increase in rainfall activity in India South Peninsular from Thursday.
This has published a warning for insulated heavy rainfall for Thursday and Friday.
Isolated rainfall is expected in six districts on Thursday.
They include Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam and Idukki.
More districts are vigilant on Friday, including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Thrissur and Palackad.
This is because of the influence of several weather systems.
Cyclical circulation is located above the southeast bay of Bengal and the environment at a lower troposphere level.
It is very likely to move to the northwest to Tamil Nadu beach for the next 4-5 days.
Likewise, a trough flowed from the circulation of the cyclone of the Southeast Teluk Bengal and the environment to the Tamil Nadu beach at a lower troposphere level.
Because of this condition, a flashy storm is very likely to occur in one or two places above Kerala starting Wednesday to Friday.
Strong winds (speed reaching 40-50kmph gusts up to 60 kmpj) is very possible at the east end and side by side with the western Arabian sea.
Fishermen are advised not to explore the sea during this period.
