Kerala: Quota for Forward Castes Not at the cost of others, said CM Pinarayi Vijayan

Thiruvananthapuram: In another offer to justify a 10% reservation stated for more economically weaker parts in the upper class Hindu community in the state, the chairman of Pinarayi Vijayan’s Minister here on Saturday said the new reservation did not qualify for caste, community bookings .
He inaugurated the Socio-Economic Survey conducted by the State Commission of Kerala for economically retreating classes among advanced communities.
“When a new 10% reservation was introduced, it would not affect the reservation enjoyed by others.
There was an accidental effort from the quarter to create the wrong idea in the community about this.
They claimed that the new reservation would be the existing reservation.
Those who tried Divide the community by blowing it as an emotional problem just trying to divert attention from the real problem, “he said.
“People who are included in the category of SC / SC and their backward social education and getting a reservation in government services.
That will continue.
Each community will get a reservation for it,” he added.

The inside of the categories of non-reserve are in poverty, said CM.

The survey aims to collect information on the socio-economic conditions among 164 categories of non-reservation communities.
“The information sought in the survey will only be collected from those who are willing to get along with the process.
Nothing is forced to participate in the survey.
It is not required at all.
Only those who are willing to share information that they can participate in the survey,” he said.
