Thiruvananthapuram: The Covid-19 Daily case in Kerala fell further on Monday with a country that recorded 22,524 fresh infections that raised cooperatives to 62.93.907.
The southern state reported 26,729 Covid-19 cases on Sunday.
Kerala on Monday also reported 860 deaths that raised the total death to 59.115, according to the government’s release.
From death, 14 reported in the last 24 hours, 113 were those that occurred in the last few days but were not recorded due to the delay in receiving documents and 733 was designated as Covid-19 deaths after receiving an appeal based on new guidelines from the center and the direction of the Supreme Court, the release said .
With 49,586 people recovered more than viruses since Sunday, the total recovery reached 59.32.609.
Because the number of recovery is more than the new Covid-19 case, the active case in the country fell to 3.01.424, the release said.
On Sunday, the number of active cases is 3.29,348.
A total of 78,682 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
Among the 14 districts, Thiruvananthapuram recorded the highest number of cases with 3,493, followed by Ernakulam (3,490), Kottayam (2,786) and Kollam (2,469).
The remaining district records less than 2,000 cases.
From new cases, 170 were health workers, 114 from outside the country and 21,033 were infected through contact with the source unclear at 1.207, the release said.
At present there are 4,74,949 people under supervision in various districts, including 4.65,565 in the house or institutional quarantine and 10,793 in the hospital, the release said.
