Bikaner: Police Hanumatarh arrested a 16-year-old boy with his father and brother for allegedly kidnapping and raping a 12-year-old girl.
DSP Prashant Koushik said the 12-year-old 12-year-old student found the 12-year-old girl, a 7th grade student, on Instagram.
He said that they reportedly fell in love and the girl ran from his place on September 24 and reached the boy’s house where they lived as a couple for more than 10 days.
The girl’s parents submitted a lost report and asked the police to find the girl, he said.
During the investigation, the police found that the girl came into contact with the boy and they spent a lot of time online, he said.
The boy introduced the girl as a victim of household harassment in his place and his family let them live like a husband and wife, he said.
Acting on technical input, the police could find a partner and took them to the police station the intersection to be interrogated, he said.
Duo admitted that they were in physical relationships and therefore, the girl was prescribed medical examination at a government hospital, he said.
The boy with his father and brother, who allegedly allowed a partner to live together, was arrested under the protection of children from sexual violations (Pocso) along with the allegations of kidnapping.
The boy was sent to a teenage house, while the girl was handed over to his parents.
