Rajkot: Administration of the Rajkot District began filtering children at 11 District Talukas to anticipate the third wave of Covid-19.
Administration has begun training to identify vulnerable children.
Health officials from Panchayat Regency have surveyed children in the age group 0-5 in the first phase.
They filtered 1.43 lakh children where 3,695 were identified as vulnerable due to birth defects, iron deficiency, malnutrition, and delayed development.
A list of high-risk children has also been prepared.
Playback Children in the age group 5-10 years will begin in the next 10 days.
