Thiruvananthapuram: Meeting 43 Kerala Infrastructure Infrastructure Meeting (Kiifb) who met here on Tuesday chaired by the head of Pinarayi Vijayan’s head cleared 44 projects worth Rs 6,943.37 Crore.

44 projects that have been cleaned by the Kiifb Council include 28 projects under the Department of Public Works worth Rs 4,397.88 Crore, four projects worth RS 273.52 Crore under the Department of Water Resources, seven projects worth RS 392.14 Crore under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Three projects worth RS 915.84 Crore under the initiative of West Canal Canal Development, RS 850 Crore for land acquisition and the development of global industrial finance trade in Ayyampulazha in Ernakulam as part of the Kochi-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor and RS 114 Crore for projects under the Ayush Department .
Although KIIFB sanction projects worth 70,762.05 crore, it only spent RS 17,052.89 crore for it.
The project is only worth RS 4,428.94 Crore, has been completed under Kiifb since it was changed by the previous LDF government.
Where the projects were completed, there were 210 school buildings, 44,705 hi-tech classrooms, one signal, one signal.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister KN Balagopal said after the council met that the government had not yet discussed a discussion about increasing the retirement age of government employees.
He said there were several suggestions about retirement age.
The minister said that some recommendations regarding reducing wasteful expenditure will be implemented in the upcoming state budget.
