Bhubaneswar: The center on Wednesday announced the Atal Ranking Institution on the Achievement of Innovation (Ariia), 2021.
Kiit was considered a university, Bhubaneswar secured rank 1 among the state self-financing institutions in the ranking framework.
Ariia is a joint initiative from the Ministry of Education and the All-India Technical Education Board (AICTE) to systematically rank higher educational institutions in India in parameters such as patent archiving and given, the number of students registered and start-up faculty, generation of funds with start- Up incubated, special infrastructure made by institutions to promote innovation and entrepreneurship.
Rankings have been announced in nine separate categories including centrally funded technical institutions, state universities, Standalone Standalone Technical Universities, private universities, private independent technical colleges, non-technical governments and universities and institutions.
Unless the kiit, there are no other institutions that secure a place in 10 educational institutions in this country in nine categories of Ariia 2021.

Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology University found a place in the ‘Band-Excellent’ column in the private university category.
Similarly, the University of Technology and Management of Centurion (CUTM) and CV Raman Global University are secured in the Band-Experter of the Ranking’s Private University (Technical) column.
Sri Sri University and several other institutes found mention in various ribbons of Ariia categories.
The official sources of Kiit said that they had reached the top spot in this prestigious rank because of innovation and entrepreneurial centers, advanced laboratories, centers of excellence, collaboration with industry and international institutions.
Achyuta Samanta, Kiit founder and kiss, while congratulating all staff and institutional students said they got the top position for the second time in a row.
This proves the advantages in the field of research and innovation, he added.
The Minister of State for Education Subhas Sarkar announced the ranking before the chairman of Aicte Anil D Sahasrabudhe.
IIT Madras has been recognized as the most innovative educational institution in this country.
