Rajkot: Nilesh Domadiya, the owner of the Kuningan factory in Jamnagar, was confused about his fate like jewelry, cash and cellphones disappeared from his home without signs of forced entries or robbers targeting the place.
Police investigation revealed that the culprit was Jasmin Virani (28), a relative far from Domadiya, who had stolen the key to the house and used it stole valuables worth 32.30 lakh from the house between last August and January 31 was arrested on Thursday and cash and jewelry stolen confiscated from him.
Domadiya has a factory in GIDC’s brave and lives in Shivam Park in Jamnagar.
He had submitted a complaint with the police a few days ago stating that cash and valuables were lost from his house but there were no rest signs.
He also told the police that he had lost many key houses six months ago.
Police said that Virani had stolen the key.
When the family had gone for a ceremony at their factory on August 10 last year, two gold chains, bracelets and one ring were lost from home.
Domadiya thinks jewelry might be wrong place.
But once again on November 5, 2021, the family went to their natives during the Diwali vacation.
During that time the cellphone was stolen from a locked house.
On January 31, the family went for dinner and returned to find that Rs 30 lakh cash was stored in the closet in the house lost.
This time, Domadiya submitted a complaint with a police station in Division in Jamnagar.
The police while checking CCTV cameras found Virani visited the Domadiya community in those days when the family came out.
The police detained Virani and asked, he claimed to steal from home using the key he had stolen.
Therefore, there are no signs of forced entries.
