Kolkata: From Wednesday, the Metro will extend the service hours 30 minutes all seven days a week in the north-south line and add six more services to 270.
The limp carrier returns to normal with the third wave operation pre-hours, the number of services and token systems.
The first train will go at 7 in the morning as usual, but the last train from Dum Dum and Kavi Subhas will spend 9:30 a.m., not 9pm.
The last service from Dakshineswar will be at 9:18 pm instead of 8.48pm.
On Sunday, the first train will leave the terminal station at 10 am as usual.
When the state government trades restrictions and allows the Metro to teach 70% of its passengers, not 50%, the utility announces the reintroduction of tokens from Tuesday.
Footfall automatically increases with commuters that rarely take Metro now that single travel plastic discs are circulating again.
Arun, a commuter at Kalighat Station, was arrested unconscious.
“Don’t know the token back, so I brought the smart card that I bought earlier this month.
I came to the station and realized that the token was back.
Now I can handle a smart card and get a deposit back,” he said.
Since January 3, because the sidewalk of the state government appears, the Metro attracts the token system, which only allows smart card holders to rise, reduce work day operating hours starting at 9:30 p.m.
to 9pm along the north-south stretch, the city settlement pathway.
The results showed instantly and the number of passengers was dipped, carrying almost 2 lakh fewer people as referred to the state government.
