Kolkata: The bar in Park Street and other parts of the city, along with off-shop, will still be closed for almost five days next week – September 28 (from 18:30), 29 and 30 (up to 7 nights) and 2: 00 3 – Participating in the order of the election commission for Bhowanipore by the election where the head of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee was fighting.

In accordance with the direction of the electoral commission, bars and places outside the home must remain closed in constituencies where the selection of by-election is held.
Forty-eight hours are calculated from the end of the poll in certain constituencies.
The Association of East Indian hotels and restaurants, President Sudesh Poddar said the closure of the bar because the election would have an impact on sales.
“However, nothing can be done because this is the mandate of the Election Commission,” he added.
