Kolkata: A 26-year-old heart hearing and blind from Mogratan allegedly raped in the Pragati Maidan area after being reportedly kidnapped from the Park Circus train station on Thursday night.
Kamre Alam aka King, residents of Panchannagram, were arrested for allegedly involved in the incident.
According to sources, the woman worked at a wallet manufacturing plant in the Tangra-Pragati Maidan area.
“The defendant claimed he knew who was accused of work.
On January 27, he was on his way home when he comforted him outside the station and convinced him to follow him.
In a remote place, he was forcibly pulling him into the car and suspected of raping him.
There are some gaps where The incident happened, but it seemed like he was raped in a moving car.
He was also told to hand over money to the defendant.
He was then thrown out in a remote place near the bypass connector, from where he managed to reach the residence of a friend who took him to the police, “said a source police.
The police inspected CCTV’s prints to identify the car, after which they accused the defendant.
“The defendant was produced in court on Friday and sent to police detention,” said CP together (crime) Murlidhar Sharma.
