Kolkata: Five unknown people, wearing masks and hats, allegedly entering the office of the transportation company, which is located on the second floor of Janaki Bhawan in Kashinath Mallick Lane in Central Jorashanko, and was put to the RS 75,000 during the day around 4.15: 00 Saturday.
Even though the locals claimed that some cellphones were lost, the police had not confirmed this.
Police at the Jorasanko police station registered a case under robbery and ARM.
Gambil allegedly closed the office door, threatening six officials, who were there at that time, stealing money from cash boxes and escaping.
“On the basis of complaints submitted by one of the officials, Sourav Dutta, this case has been recorded.

The owner of the company was not present in the office when the alleged robbery occurred.
“The defendant seems to have information about the place, where cash is stored in the office.
We did not rule out the role of people in the incident.
We will go through the CCTV recording area,” said an officer.
