Bengaluru: The Karnataka government said on Thursday that high school students to grade 10 will continue their studies on February 14, followed by pre-universities and colleges.
The decision was achieved at a meeting involving the ministers of home, primary and secondary education, the Ministry of Higher Education, and high-ranking officials, led by the Chairman of the Minister of Basavara.
“The three judges (from the Karnataka High Court) have said that they will hear this case every day and that everyone must maintain peace, and not wear religious clothing in college until then (order).
They also give instructions to reopen Educational institutions, “said Bommai.
Speaking to reporters here, he said, the discussion was held at a meeting aimed at building peace at the school and college campus and created an atmosphere for students to study together, and to defend the law and order.
“It has been decided that high school classes to grade 10 will begin to function from Monday and at the second stage of PUC and the college level will begin, the date will be announced in time,” he said.
The Karnataka High Court heard the hijab problem on Thursday asked students not to insist on wearing religious clothing on the campus of educational institutions, to the disposal of the problem.
Posting this problem for Monday, the court also said educational institutions could continue the class for students.
Bench full of three judges from the chairman of the ritu judge Raj Awasthi, justice JM Khazi and Justice Krishna S Dixit, which was formed on Wednesday, also said he wanted to be resolved earliest but until the time of peace and tranquility was maintained.
The minister’s chairman said he had held a minister’s meeting with deputy commissioner, police supervisor, Deputy Director of Public Instruction and CEO of Zilla Panchayats from all districts on Friday night through video conferencing to gather information about the situation in the district and provide certain directions.
“The Minister, Minister of Education, Minister of Home Affairs and I will come into contact with senior officials, which have been ordered to stay in touch with district level officials and taluk.

In protest for and against the hijab increased in various parts of the carnataka and turned into violence in several places, the government stated holidays for all secondary schools and colleges in the state for three days, from Wednesday.
Earlier on the day, Bommai urged everyone including politicians, not to make a statement that incited people and maintain peace.
